Safe Conversations Leader Certification

Welcome

You are about to set out on an exciting journey to become a Certified Safe Conversations Leader. This 30-hour certification program is a combination of online learning, live sessions conducted by a Safe Conversations Master Trainer, and focused practice. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the foundational concepts of dialogue communication and the tools to implement the practice of dialogue in every interaction.

Self-paced Learning

Each week you will have self-paced learning to complete prior to your live weekly session. These digital content modules are presented by Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, creators of the Safe Conversations Dialogue Methodology, and will explore the theory, ideas and practice of applying Safe Conversations Tools. After each module, you’ll complete a personal assignment to integrate Safe Conversations in your own daily life and relationships. We know that real learning happens in practice. We invite you to transform your own relational practice, because we believe you must Be it to Lead it. Be sure to have a journal or notebook ready, as well as a printer to access the course materials for every segment.

Live Instruction

Each week you will meet with a Safe Conversations Master Trainer and your Leader Training Cohort to discuss key concepts, practice Dialogue, and share insights. These interactive sessions filled will be focused on bringing Safe Conversations to life for you and those you will be training. Network, collaborate and co-create with participants from all industries, all over the world, in these dynamic online gatherings.

The Live Instruction will be held via Zoom every Tuesday at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Central Time during October 21, 2025 – January 27, 2026. You must register to receive the Zoom link and calendar invitations for the recurring weekly event.
