Certification week asked you to do something most of us find genuinely vulnerable: stand up in front of your cohort, present content you have been studying but have not fully mastered yet, and let yourself be seen as a learner in the process of becoming a teacher.

There is no pre-work video this week. The session itself was the experience. And the reflection question this week is entirely grounded in what happened when you actually did it.

    This Week’s Questions

You presented a segment of the SCDW in front of your cohort and put yourself forward as someone who can teach this content.

    • What did you discover about yourself in that moment, something you would not have known without doing it?
    • What was harder than you expected, and what surprised you by feeling more natural than you thought it would?
    • When you picture doing this in front of a real audience, one that does not already know and support you, what do you want to carry forward from this experience?

    How to Participate

Post your response by end of day Friday.

Then come back Saturday, Sunday, or Monday and respond to at least 2 to 3 of your cohort members. Read what they shared and engage with it genuinely. You might affirm something that resonated, share where your experience was similar or different, or ask a follow-up question that invites them to go deeper. The goal is real dialogue, not just acknowledgment.
