Reply To: How are you using what what you have learned?
Over the holidays I was able to take a wonderful hike with my middle daughter. She had a difficult career issue last month and we hadn’t been able to have a good conversation about where she was with it all. On our hike I was able to mirror and validate. The more we walked, the more she shared and we were able to go deeper and deeper. It was such a lovely moment in time of connectedness and understanding. I am deeply appriciative of this gentle method of supporting my adult kids.
